Oculus set up a VR team in London.

Facebook, the social platform giant, has been at the forefront of VR's growth since it spent $2 billion on Oculus in 2014. With the development of the market, VR has soared in the United States and China. As a result, Facebook is preparing to expand its territory and aim at the United Kingdom.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Facebook recently established a VR development center in London, England, and became the first base of its Oculus in Europe.

It is understood that the head of the Oculus UK team is Mike LeBeau, a former senior engineer of Google, who is the developer of Google Voice Search software. In January of this year, LeBeau went to London to join Oculus. In fact, Oculus has always been active in the United Kingdom. In 2015, Oculus's godfather Facebook acquired Surreal Vision, a British VR start-up company. According to LinkedIn, Oculus has been expanding the UK's engineering development and developer relations team for the past six months.

At present, Oculus has offices in six cities in the United States, Hong Kong and Seoul, and this time London. In response, Oculus responded that the company has a small team in London and said that "we will soon announce more international expansion plans. That seems to mean Facebook is ready to expand dramatically.
